The Cultural Tourism Industry Group (CTIG) is a volunteer organisation, established in 1994 to develop professionalism within the cultural tourism sector. Its members include large and small, private and government-funded arts, cultural and heritage organisations throughout Victoria.
CTIG members include the visual arts, performing arts, festivals, libraries, heritage and cultural organisations — art galleries, museums, community venues and performing arts companies from the world of opera, ballet, symphony and drama. Members include the National Trust, Parks Victoria, Parliament House, Arts Victoria and Tourism Victoria. Local government is also strongly represented, supporting the range of community events, attractions and festivals.
From cultural icons with broad public appeal to smaller specialist collection "treasures" and cultural attractions that celebrate indigenous heritage and the ethnic cultural diversity of Australia, CTIG members reflect the interests, passions and drive for quality, professionalism, creativity, innovation and celebration. Come. See. Discover. Experience it for yourself.
