CTIG Networking Event Feb 28th
28/02/08 – 12:00PM
Our first networking event for 2008 was a well-attended info session at the State Library with Tim Roberts, marketing expert and Director of Arts Australia (www.artsoz.com.au). Events always combine a speaker with an interesting event or venue and this was no exception.
Future events to be announced.
CTIG AGM & Networking event
03/04/08 – 12:00PM
CTIG's AGM was held on 3 April, 2008. The AGM was preceeded by a presentation from Arts Victoria's David Broadbent who gave an overview of the new marketing directions and initiatives being undertaken by Arts Victoria over the coming months.
In addition to increasing their support of the arts in general, David added his voice to the important role of the arts in both the cultural life of Victorians, but also as a drawcard for visitors.
At the AGM we welcomed Dr. Jacqueline
Healy, the Director of Bundoora Homestead and Art Gallery as the new CTIG President. Role changes were announced for former Secretariat Jenny Ryssenbeek who has moved to the role of Treasurer and for Sharron Dickman who moved from the role of President to the Secretariat.
Jenny was thanked for her more than twelve years of dedicated service to CTIG and presented with a bouquet of Australian native flowers. Sharron, after six years as President, will serve in the role of Secretariat.
